Interim Maintenance

Well, this is a good post. Liam is half-way through Interim Maintenace. It has been so much better than expected. Liam has not had as rough of a time with it as we had expected. The docs always say that each kid handles the chemo differently. Without sounding like I'm making light of it I just wanna say it feels like he is sailing through this round. He has not had the low ANC, or too much nausea that we can't manage, or (Thank Goodness) the mouthsores. And he finishes each round in the minimum amount of time required. I can not tell you how grateful I am for the miraculous prayers that are blessing my sweet Liam's body. We have also added an appetite stimulant to Liam's myriad of medicines and he has gained quite a bit of some much needed weight, and also has been prescribed with an asthma medication that has finally eased a 3 1/2 month cough.
Knock on wood. I'm always so afraid of saying things are good because I know that things could get so much worse so quickly. But I'll try to continue to be positive.
