Scripture reading with the kiddos!

Two fun things happened while reading our scriptures tonight. First, Julia read two verses mostly by herself! Yay! Our little reader is doing so great. It was such a proud moment for all of us. Not to be outdone, Liam wanted to read by himself too. Usually I whisper a line at a time and he'll repeat. I started, "And it" and he jumped in, "And it came to pass..." I started to tell him the next line but he told me, "I can do it myself... and to behold..." Funny kid. Love those kids. We've been reading the book of Mormon together for a Primary challenge that started in January. We've made it to 1 Nephi chapter 17. Hope we finish!

I love grandma and everyone we know in the whole world, and you know what, I really love my mommy and she's so fun and so cool, and Jenevieve is so amazing and she tries to eat my hair and you know what I love everyone and I really know that I am 3 years old. And you know what? I really love everyone in the whole wide world, and trees just pop balloons. And my mom is so funny. And my mommy and daddy are so funny. And I just love them too much! And I am so laughing, hahahahha! Hahahahhaaahaahaaha. And I love them to much are they are so fun too much and they let me play with stuff too much and I love them for all the world and they are my favorite ones and I really love them too much. And I am so funny. And you know what? I love everyone. And I also love trees that's why I used to hug trees and you know what? I love trees too much. And I am so funny.
Coloring my picture was my favorite thing today. And I was having so fun saying the prayer and saying the scriptures and I say "Oh" too much and I am soo so funny and you know what? We have to fill up the whole thing and that's what I am doing so we are going to grandma's and TheEnd.

Julia's first blog post

This week i'm going to Kayelynne's birthday tomorrow and she is so excited. I think she is iniviting Liam cuz I don't know if she is or not, so I'll just tell her she's inviting Liam. [I haven't heard about any of this before] So I am bringing Grandma a present today and I am only only only giving her a present when she comes here and when I make it. O.k? O.k. Thank you. So I am making a present and it is going to be very beautiful.
My favorite part at church was coloring. I colored a cake. So if I color a cake, I would be very happy with Grandma at her house. And Jenevieve, she's always funny. She is crawling around the bed and she almost falls that way. So if she does it, I laugh. And she even eats me, hahaha!
Love everyone in the world.

As we were leaving after a weekend visit with Grandma and Grandpa Wainwright, Liam told Grandpa, "I love you more than Iron Man." Grandpa said, "Wow, that's really something." Liam said, "No that's a lot. That's a ton of love."

Liam was really upset and crying and I was trying to calm him down so he wouldn't wake everyone. I asked him if he would stop crying and he said, "yes, but I'm still gonna make this face."

Julia cut some of Liam's hair so I had to give him a haircut. Luckily it turned out all right. Liam liked it. then I had to put him in the shower to wash off all the extra hairs and he cried and cried. I got him out and cuddled him and told him its o.k. to take a shower (usually he cries about showers) because now I get to cuddle him and he said, "I'm not crying about that, I'm crying because you ruined my wonderful hair." Because I got it wet.

There is something about boys and dirt. Liam had a ball helping Mark and Grandpa plant the garden yesterday. He thought he was strong enough to push a full wheelbarrow, but Mark convinced him that they should do it together. Liam said, "You get one side and I'll get the other side." Mark suggested Liam push in front and Mark would hold the handles behind him. the whole way Liam sang, "What's gonna work? Teamwork! What's gonna work? Team work!" from The Wonder Pets.
